Track Official

A fixture on the Berks County track scene, Earl has officiated at over 1,500 track and cross country events in a half-century. A graduate of Shillington High School (1944), he has served as a track and field official/starter for 52 years at the high school and college level, officiating at the William and Mary Colonial Relays, Albright College, Lebanon Valley, District III, PIAA meets and the Keystone Games. He is past-president of the Governor Mifflin Boosters and served on the Governor Mifflin school board for over two decades. He was a member of the Basketball Old-Timers, Reber-Moore American Legion Post, Rotary International and the Shillington Athletic Club. He served in the navy during WWII and has owned his own company for 30 years. In his spare time, he has been the director of the Punt, Pass and Kick competition for 20 years.
