A graduate of Holy Name High School, Mike has been coaching basketball in Berks County for 26 years. He began his coaching career at Kutztown High School, where he led the Cougars to a division title with a 14-0 record. He coached at Reading High School (1988-94), Compiling an overall record of 145-31 and won four straight Berks County titles. At one time during that stretch, the Red Knights won 60 consecutive games. He was the coach of NBA star Donyell Marshall. Currently in his fifth season as the varsity coach at Alvernia College, he has led the Crusaders to three Pennsylvania Athletic Conference titles. His squad continues to be one of the best coached conference teams and will be switching to the MAC in the 2009-10 season.
