John Crossan

Graduate of Bishop Shanahan High School (1965) where he played basketball and golf. He graduated from West Chester University (1970), playing golf and participating in track. He coached soccer and softball in the Reading school district. John has been a PIAA basketball official for 35 years and is one of two officials in the state to referee both a boys and girls basketball state final game. He officiated women’s college basketball games for 27 years in the Big East, Atlantic 10, Ivy, Patriot, East Coast and Metro leagues. He has officiated 25 years at Division II in PSAC and 27 years at Division III in the PAC, Landmark, MAAC, Freedom and Commonwealth leagues.
