Carl Schnellenbach

The winningest high school wrestling coach in Pennsylvania history with an overall record of 665-171-4 while coaching 49 years at Ridley High School. He is a graduate of West Reading High School (1951) where he was an all-around athlete. In football he led Berks County in scoring and was the 440 yard champion in track. Graduated from West Chester University and is a U.S. Navy veteran. Carl has competed in two Boston Marathons and is a master swimmer. Inducted into the Pennsylvania Wrestling coaches and National Wrestling coaches Halls of Fame. He has won 18 Central League titles and five District 1 titles. Carl recently coached Team USA vs Team Iowa.
