Joe Stallone, Holy Name Class of ’76, was an outstanding gymnast. He won 48 gold, silver and bronze medals in PIAA competition over a three-year period and was the national high school champion in rings and vaulting. He went on to an All-American career at Penn State. He has coached at several levels, including the Allentown Parkettes, where he earned national coach of the year honors five times. He also coached the USA Olympic Festival team three times and directed the U.S. Junior National team to four world titles.
