Rick Bausher

Rick Bausher, a 1972 graduate of Gov. Mifflin, served as captain of the basketball team and co-captain of the golf team. He achieved victories such as the 1970 BCGA Junior Golf Tournament, the Heidelberg Country Club title in 1984, and the BCGA Partners Championship in 1989. Rick dedicated 35 years to teaching and coaching at Gov. Mifflin, including seven years as the boys’ assistant basketball coach, five years as golf coach, and twenty-eight years as head girls’ basketball coach. He became the winningest girls’ basketball coach in Berks history with 550 wins. His team won county titles in 1984, 1987, 1991, 1993, 1996, 1999, and 2011, along with ten division titles and a PIAA District 3 title.
