Jay Weitzel

A 1950 Wilson High School graduate, Jay won the 1948 PIAA golf championship and the 1949 District 3 title, was Berks County Publinx champion, National Junior Chamber of Commerce finalist, and 1950 runner-up basketball scorer. After high school, he became head golf pro at Hershey Country Club for forty years and was inducted into the Wilson Sports Hall of Fame's inaugural class.
