Riley Mike

Mike was the Outstanding Male Athlete at Reading High in 1977. He was a first team All-Berks defensive back, honorable mention All-State defense and as a receiver. He was a member of the Big 33 team. Mike caught 11 passes in one game. He was a member of the District 3 PIAA championship basketball team. He was the East Penn League champion in the discus. Mike was inducted into the Kutztown University Hall of Fame in 1990 and named Kutztown’s top male athlete. He signed as a free agent with the Detroit Lions. In 1982 he won the discus at the Mason-Dixon Relays. He has coached football, basketball and track at Central Catholic, Wyomissing, Reading, Pottstown, Schuylkill Valley and Albright College.
