Judy Lawes

Judy came to Kutztown University in 1987 as head softball and tennis
coach. She graduated from Shippensburg University and in 2001 was named to their Athletic Hall of Fame. Judy coached the Kutztown softball team for 25 years compiling an 811-435-2 record that ranks her in the top 30 nationally among college softball coaches. In 2013 Kutztown won the PSAC championship for the first time in KU history. She has coached six straight 40 win seasons. In 2012 she led the Bears to 52 wins and a 33 game win streak. Judy has been named PSAC Coach of the Year six times and has also won the Dr. Dorothy Moyer Award as the top Kutztown University coach six times.
