Harry was an outstanding all-around athlete at Hamburg High School. He was the Berks County Most Valuable basketball player in 1964. He held Hamburg’s scoring record until broken by his son Troy Williamson. He played for Exeter Black Knights who won the National Amateur Basketball Championship and also played for Dietrich’s Dairy, a top amateur county team.
