Soccer

Outstanding basketball and soccer player from Kutztown Area HS. He helped lead the Cougars to a 27-3 record in basketball and to the state quarter-finals. He holds the all-time leading KAHS soccer scoring record with 94 goals. In 1984 was All County, Berks County Soccer MVP in 1984-85 and first team All-State. At East Stroudsburg University, Brent was Conference MVP, captained the team three years and was named to first team All-PSAC Conference all four years He held ESU records for goals and assists and was named to the Division II Regional All American team three times and to the National Division 2 National All-American team two times. Brent played professional soccer for teams including the Philadelphia Freedom and was instrumental in helping the Reading Rage become a nationally acclaimed team. He coached soccer at Kutztown Area HS, Gov. Mifflin HS and Berks Catholic. He was inducted in 2003 to the East Stroudsburg Hall of Fame.
