Outstanding three sport athlete (football, basketball and track) at Wyomissing in the late 1970s. Marty was a two year first team All-Berks and All-Inter-County quarterback and Back-of-the-Year. He also was first team as a defensive back. He set a school record of 237 completions in 481 attempts and 26 touchdowns. He was a four year player at Cornell and starting QB his junior and senior years leading the team to an 11-3 record in 1986 which is the best percentage of a QB in school history. He tied single season record for most TD passes and completed 30 passes in one game vs Princeton. He was honored as one of the top players in the history of the 10,000 players who have competed in the Inter-County League. He was inducted into the Wyomissing Football Hall of Fame in 2013.
