Three-time PIAA champion at 100 meters and two-time champion at 200 in track. Went on to set sprint records at Eastern Kentucky University. Member of the U.S. team that set the world record in the 400-meter relay in 1983. EKU’s Female Athlete of the Year as a senior and a member of the school’s athletic hall of fame. Currently director of teacher education at EKU’s College of Education.
