Larry Wildermuth

Larry was a 1965 Governor Mifflin and a 1969 Albright College. He coached the wrestling team for 28 years at Oley Valley High School from 1969-1997. He finished with a career record of 272-138-2. Throughout his coaching career, he coached 25 PIAA state qualifiers, six of whom were District 3/South Central regional champions. He led the Lynx to the 1991 Berks County wrestling championship, which was the first Class AA team to win that title. He continued coaching as an assistant in the elementary wrestling program at Tulpehocken H.S. from 2015 through 2017 where he worked with his grandchildren. Mr. Wildermuth was inducted into the Berks County Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2022.
