Steve Little

Reading HS graduate. Won 228 fights as an amateur boxer. Turned professional in 1983 and fought in his first world title in 1989. In 1994 he defeated Michael Nunn for the WBA super-middleweight title. In 1996 he won the IBC super-middleweight title in a fight staged in Reading. He retired from boxing in 1998 with a record of 25-17- 3. Passed away from cancer at the age of 34 in 2000.
