Chad is a former Wilson High School football player and four year starter at quarterback. His high school athletic accolades include All-State, All-American, and Gatorade Pennsylvania Player of the Year. He was a five-star quarterback recruited by the University of Michigan and started all four years of his career. After his first season, Chad was named to the All-American Freshman team. To end his college career he was named the MVP of the Capital One Bowl. He also received All Big Ten honors his junior and senior seasons. To date, Chad holds all passing records at the University of Michigan. Chad was drafted in the second round of the 2008 draft by the Miami Dolphins, where he played for four years; then moved on to play for the Jacksonville Jaguars for six years. His last stop was with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he spent five seasons. He finished his career going to 6 straight AFC Championship games, and is a two-time Super Bowl champion. After the Chiefs Super Bowl LVII win, Chad announced his retirement to close out a 15 year NFL career.
