Brian Menet

A 1985 graduate of Central Catholic, where he was named All-Berks in football (on offense and defense), basketball and volleyball as a senior and won six letters in his career. He was a three-year starter in football who helped lead the Cardinals to a 12-1 record and the District 3 Class 1A title in 1983. In basketball, he was a three-year starter who scored a career-high 35 points in the District 3 1A final as a junior. As a senior, he was named the Berks Player of the Year after leading Central to a 27-2 record and the District 3 and PIAA 1A titles. Menet went on to play basketball at Franklin & Marshall, where he was a four-year starter, the ECAC Rookie of the Year in 1986 and an ECAC Division III South All-Star first-team pick in 1989. He helped lead the Diplomats to four appearances in the NCAA Division III Tournament, including two Sweet 16 berths and one Elite Eight berth. He scored 1,021 career points and still ranks in the top 10 at Franklin & Marshall in field goal percentage, rebounds, assists and steals.
