An outstanding three-sport athlete at Robesonia High School, starring in soccer, basketball and baseball. In soccer, Terry was a member of three divisional championship and two county championship teams. He held the Berks County soccer scoring record of 22 goals in one season for 25 years. Overall, the high school teams that he competed with won one district, eight divisional and three county championships. At Albright College, Terry played basketball and baseball. He was the Lions’ top hitter in baseball for two years with batting averages of .427 and .395. He played AAA baseball in the St. Louis Cardinals minor league system and hit .448 in the Georgia-Florida League and .438 with Bollings, MT in the Pioneer League. He coached basketball and baseball at Conrad Weiser High School for seven years, with his teams winning a league title in basketball and one Berks and two league titles in baseball. Terry served 13 years on the Berks High School Athletic Association Board of Control and was inducted into the Central Chapter Sports Hall of Fame (1990). He was a teacher, coach and Superintendent in the Conrad Weiser School District
