Top ranked handball player in Pennsylvania in last 25 years. Top flight athlete at Central Catholic and Kutztown University. Berks baseball Legion All-Star. Four year letterman in football and baseball at Kutztown University. All-State gridder at Central Catholic. Was Middle-Atlantic handball champion eight straight years. Won state doubles handball title (with Don Smith) four times. Berks County handball title fourteen straight years (1969-1983). Pennsylvania Handball in Masters Division four times. Present defending champion (won most recent title in March, 1994). At the time of induction was Commissioner of Handball for state of Pennsylvania.
