Reggie Weiss

Legendary basketball coach at Wilson and Central Catholic high schools. In 14 years at Wilson, has won four division titles, four Berks County titles and was Division One Coach of the Year four times. In 5 years at Central Catholic, has won two division titles, a district title and a state championship. In girls tennis (Wilson) in 15 years has won 13 division titles, 13 Berks championships, three District titles; owns 226-21 (91.5%) record. In playing days at Harrisburg’s Bishop McDevitt was All-Central Penn Conference. Captain of Shippensburg University basketball team. All-State two years. Set eight scoring records – still owns Shippensburg’s PPG average of 27.3. Played for Harrisburg Patriots in Eastern Pro League. Honorable mention All-American in college. Started coaching career at Steelton – his JV’s won three titles in four years.
