Outstanding baseball coach at Oley High School. Won 15 Division titles (1971-73, 1978-83, 1985-87, 1989-91). Won two Berks titles (1979 and 1985). Won four District 3 AA titles (1984-85, 1988-89). Won three State PIAA titles (1984-85, 1989). Runner-up twice in State (1979, 1988). Berks Coach of the Year four times. Has a 26 year record of 328-178. Coached Oley’s baseball team for 26 years, managed summer camp for 15 years and coached Oley Legion for six seasons. Coached soccer at Oley for nine years. Won one Berks title. Graduate of Ringtown High School. Led East Stroudsburg University in baseball to the 1962 State Title. Led Ringtown to tournament win over West Reading in basketball (1958). Won three league titles in baseball.
