Outstanding athlete, coach, and basketball official. A consistently top-rated Berks County basketball official, he worked 65 District III tournament games over a 25-season officiating career. Officiated six District III championship finals. Worked 37 PIAA state tournament games, including four Eastern final championship games and the state AAAA championship game (1989). Served as president of BCBOA for four years and on the Executive Board for 12 years. Selected to officiate 21 Berks County championship games during his career. Also served as an IAABO (International Association of Approved Basketball Officials) member for 20 years and was president for three years. Served four years as CBOA (College Basketball Officials Association) official. A student-athlete at Muhlenberg High School, he won eight varsity letters in three years. Named Outstanding Male Athlete at Muhlenberg (1964). All-Berks West Division in senior year. All-Division basketball (1964-65). Tim coached Muhlenberg High School girls softball (1986-2007) with a coaching record of 167-91 over 13 seasons. Teams played in four Berks championship games, won the Berks title in softball (1994), played in three District III title games, and won the District III Championship (1993).
