Outstanding athlete in cross country, basketball and baseball at Wilson High School in the 1960s. First team All-Berks in basketball and baseball (1966). Wilson’s top athlete (1966). Top-scorer in Berks County with 466 points in 22 games (21.2 PPG) (1965-66). Reading Eagle’s top county player. Played three years of varsity basketball at Albright College (1968-70) and four years of varsity baseball (1967-70). First team All-MAC and MVP in baseball at Albright (1970). Played in Lebanon Valley League (1967-74) and led league in hitting (.457) in 1969. Coached girls and boys basketball at Muhlenberg High School. Had 126-89 record with girls and 100-75 record with boys basketball teams. Teacher/administrator in Muhlenberg school district for 28 years. Presently, retired from education administration and at time of induction was an assistant coach in the Schuylkill Valley Boys’ basketball program.
