Wilson High School’s Athlete of the Year (1962). All-Berks football, first-team (1960 & 1962). An all-around athlete who excelled in three sports. Bill held the Wilson High School football record for number of tackles for 25 years. Named All-Berks in baseball as a catcher (1962). Middle Atlantic first-team as a linebacker at Albright College (1964 & 1965). Albright Lineman of the Year and MVP (1965). Inducted into the Wilson High School Hall of Fame (1987) and Albright College Hall of Fame (2001). He coached Wilson baseball, winning the Berks County title (1977) and District III Champions and state runner-up (1988). Wilson golf coach and won the Berks County Championship (1977-79, 1982, 1985, 1995).
