The most successful girls track coach in Berks County history. Linda began her coaching career at Governor Mifflin High School in 1972 and retired after 37 years. Her career record is 279-43-2. Under her leadership, the Mustangs were the Berks County Champions 28 times and won the division title four times. She had 13 undefeated seasons in dual meet competition and won the District III Championship twice (1995 & 2009). Linda was Coach of the Year in Berks County ten times and was selected to the Reading Times All-Time All-Star Coaching Team. A graduate of Governor Mifflin and was the top female athlete in her senior year (1964). Starred in field hockey for four years and won the division title her senior year. She was also a starter on the basketball and softball teams. Started on the East Stroudsburg University field hockey team. At Governor Mifflin, she was the field hockey head coach for five years, producing a division championship and three undefeated teams. Her overall field hockey coaching record was 32-13. Equally successful as a basketball coach, she coached the Mustangs for a decade, winning two Berks County Championships and five division titles. Coached 11-0 in league play basketball team (1969-70) and her overall basketball coaching record was 135-74.
