All Around

An outstanding athlete at Wilson High School during the 1930s, Ralph led the Prexies to the Berks County baseball title (1932). He continued his athletic career at East Stroudsburg Teachers College and, after graduation, taught and coached baseball and basketball at Wilson High School for three decades. His basketball coaching record at Wilson was 272-186 and he won a Berks County title (1948). In baseball, he posted an overall record of 198-86, winning three Berks County titles (1952, 1954 & 1961). In addition to his coaching duties, he served as the athletic director at Wilson for many years. His contributions to baseball are remembered by all.
