Dan was a Wilson High School golfer and later played tennis at Millersville University. He is one of Berks County’s most successful tennis coaches, compiling an overall record of 526-161. Dan coached boys tennis at Wilson High School for 40 years, and during that time, he also coached the girls tennis team for three years. He led the Bulldogs to 22 division titles, ten Berks titles and three PIAA state championships. He coached ten individual Berks champions and five District III titlists. He has been inducted into the Wilson Hall of Fame and the Berks County Tennis Hall of Fame.
